If you want you natural hair back, avoid putting any other chemicals in it and just let it grow.
Although it may take a while but after your hair has grew, you will start to notice your natural hair growing back.
Some people cut they hair off and let it grow back natural but you can just let the chemicals grow off until you see your natural hair again.
Hair texturizer is better for your hair than a perm if you want your hair to be more natural than chemically treated. The texturizer loosens your curls, and make your hair appear curlier and it is for the most part it is easy to maintain your hair and grow it out more when you have a texturizer. Perm is more to damage your hair and make it something different than the texture different. It will either take out your perm so that your hair is straight or it will make hair that is really strraight curly or sometimes even straighter. From personal experience I have to say that a texturizer is better for your hair. I am a mixed girl with caucasian and black and my hair overall is curly. But since I have black roots and white roots my hair is not only curly it is curly with frizz. I had a perm in my hair for many years maybe 5 years, and at first I was ok with it, but then when I wanted to grow my hair out and I wanted to wear it curly I could not because it had become straight. The curl that I once had was gone, and my hair was straight from the middle to the bottom and curly at my roots. So after a while I decided to take the perm out of my hair, and grow it out natural. Then my Aunt who is a professional hair stylist told me to get a texturizer. The first time I got it I did it myself and it ended up turning out badly, and my hair was straight again. I did not like it so I decided after a long time to go somewhere to cut off all of the perm(relaxer) that was in my hair. I did that and for about a month my hair was really short, but then after a while =3 weeks my hair was growing out and the natural curl was back. I saw my aunt's hair and how the texturizer works, so I decided to get the texturizer, it ended up giving me results that I loved. My hair is short but now growing really fast and all of the perm and straightened part is gone. It is sooooooo much easier to handle, and I love going swimming and now having to worry about it. The body is still there and it is not flat. It is like my hair when I was younger, full of body and waves. Also alot of curls. Everyone thinks that it looks so cute. So take the perm out of your hair, and if you want to get a texturizer the main difference between the two is that the perm will give you thinner hair when you stop using it and it is much stronger that a texturizer. A texturizer on the other hand will give you alot of volume, and it will restore you hair and bring out the natural curls. The best thing about a texturizer is that you can grow it out anytime without major breakage because it will loosen your curls. A perm if you constantly get it will make your hair really straight or curly and in the end you will have alot of breakage and your hair will not be natural. Personally if you want long beautiful hair grow it out without any chemicals in it.
You cannot perm chemically straightened hair. When you relax the hair you split a lot of the bonds in the hair that give it it's shape. So if you want to perm it again there are not enough bonds there to work with. You have to wait until your hair grows out and you are left with your natural hair again.
yes it is, her natural hair is straight
No not at all your hair will become damaged. what you have to do is stop perming your hair and then the perm hair will break off and your natural hair will come back in.
yes she did .
"Natural" means you do not do anything to manipulate your black/African American hair to change its texture (i.e. perm, relaxer, smoother, texturizer, etc. anything that removes the kinks, curls, or waves). Some natural women don't even use hot tools.
totally! i'm African american as well. you can do what i do (wash, blow dry, flat iron) or whatever gets it straight. u can also get a texturizer, which is a very mild perm. as for no heat, lots of ribbons, headbands, clips and bows will be fine. if you want teased scene hair, straighten, and then tease! simple as that.( you can look up how to tease it, there are videos too) you also can get the layers, but i dont recommend it. my hair looks cute just plain, with scene-ey cloths as well. oh, and i dont have a perm.
Taylor does not have a perm, but her hair is naturally curly. Her hair looks a little like how it does in the Tim McGraw music video or on the cover of her first CD naturally, but she has it done and uses products to make the kind of curl she has now to come out of it. And I agree, Taylor's hair is very beautiful! :) i agree she does not have a perm but just because she uses products to help the curl doesn't mean its not natural. i have curly hair and i use many things to help the curl.
It won't make any difference to the layers but your perm will be higher where the hair is shorter. It will look good actually. I think it will look more natural.
No it will burn and damage your hair. If you do want a perm just perm it make sure you have no color in it, make sure it's your natural color or else it will burn the hair and cause damage. If you want to color do not perm either it's so bad for your hair if you should do both...
Well you don't want to get a perm then when it starts to come out perm it again. That causes major damage to your hair. Once you get a perm you can't take it out. It grows out but if you get it done to much you can also lose hair or it will be very crunchy. So if you get a perm wait a month or more until your hair is back to normal. Also use a deep conditioner.
If cared for properly it should not be ugly... that being said any time after a perm your hair could grow causing and ugly line of natural and chemical poof.
