How do you know when you conceive?

That's A very wide open question, almost every woman feels different, but for the most part, in the first few days you want to or actually do throw up in the morning, Some women do not feel any different at all.

You cannot really tell until about two weeks later when you miss your period. Some women report experiencing some pregnancy signs such as tender breasts, nausea & bloating, but these symptoms are not a sure sign of pregnancy as they could be the flu or bad PMS symptoms. There are a couple of preg tests out on the market that can tell you if you are pregnant 7-10 days after you conceive, but most tests require 14 days which is when your period is due.

There are no sensory nerve endings that transmit signals to a female when a sperm fertilizes an egg. As well, there are no sensory nerve endings in the uterus that would register when the egg implants! If you consider that women can have ovarian cysts and a uterus full of cancer---but not have pain in the beginning, you can see this point. As well, MOST often in cyst or cancer situations is it PRESSURE sensations against the bladder and intestines that alert a woman of "pain" prior to a diagnosis of uterine or ovarian abnormal growths. Therefore, using these examples, it is physiologically IMPOSSIBLE to "feel" implantation, e.g. the moment you conceive!

What explains why some women claim to "feel" conception occurring? It can simply be convincing oneself that you "felt" it. The mind is very powerful when we want something to occur. As well, it could be changes in hormones during ovulation, which often bring feelings of well-being. But more likely, a woman wants a baby, hopes she gets pregnant, is immediately testing---and IF it turns up positive, that becomes proof that "I felt it happening!" But scientifically, it had the same 50% of being negative! A woman simply cannot and never will feel the moment of conception--impossible, impossible! She more likely felt peristalsis in the intestines, and any physical movements can increase peristalsis, including having sex.
