Simple, if you are not breast feeding all you have to do is to diet, exercise, diet, watch what you eat, and did I mention diet? All this while you are caring for a young child with all the time demands an infant requires. See, losing baby weight is no big problem, that is if you don't mind dieting. It looks to me that the better way to lose weight is to let the newborn child literally suck the calories out of you. Gee, another great advantage that breast feeding provides.

But if you are breast feeding make sure to keep an eye on your baby to decrease a chance of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), the mother's breast may "smother" her baby by accident. while the baby is being fed, if the baby is held too tight to the breast of the mother, she may be covering its nose and the baby may not be able to breath and suffocate.
