ANSWER
Preparing a bed for a sick person is varying levels of difficulty depending on where the bed is located, whether it be in a hospital, ICU unit, or in a long term care facility. In a hospital for example, you would take the soiled sheets off of the bed, and then you would spray the mattress so that it is clean from viruses etc., that the last sick person used, and then you would put on a fresh fitted sheet, and then you would do the same things with the pillows, wipe them down, and then put clean pillow cases on them. Then put a top sheet and blanket down, so that the bottom of the bed is folded and tucked in nicely, and then fold down the top part of the sheet down onto the foot of the bed, and then put on a sheet that would protect them incase they had bodily fluid coming from them.
You can actually put two quilts the bed shouldn't be cold

If the person who sneezes is not sick, perhaps no one in the room will get sick. This is impossible to answer.
You can make sure there is plenty of room for everyone's stuff, and your room is clean.

a parrot should never be in a cold room even if he is healthy, they don't have enough blood to keep themselves warm. A sick parrot should be in a room that is warmer than normal room temp.
A warm room. A cold room will weaken ur immune system (not good).
Room temperature steak won't necessarily make you sick. It would depend how long it has been at room temperature and whether any pathogens grew on it during that time frame.
