Get 3D glasses and then don't use one of the little hole things.. c:
Been to a 3-D movie lately? The glasses you have to wear are polarized; one lens vertically, the other horizontally. If you can get two pairs of glasses and flip one over so you can look through the right eye of one and the left eye of the other, you'll see how much darker they are, since the polarizations are at right angles.

Wearing the glasses yes, (without the glasses no, because the images will appear blurred) - However, the one eyed person will not see the movie in 3D.

I have only seen one total eclipse - the one in 1999 in Hungary. Three minutes is a long time for totality. As long as the sun is covered by the moon, it is safe to see with the unaided eye. Before and after the diamond ring, it is harmful to see the sun directly.
