How do you treat minor cuts?

I'm not sure if you mean scabies. A skin rash kind of similar to head lice. A mite digs into the skin causing itching and a rash. If you are the treatment is a cream called elimite or kwell rubbed over the entire body then washing off approximately 14 hours later. Then also all linens, clothes and such should be washed. Any direct family or people living in the same residence should also be treated as well. The medications are by prescription only.

Simple scrapes can be treated by just washing with soap and water. If it is oozing fluid or if you might get dirt into the area, put a bandage over it. If you want, you can apply some antibiotic ointment underneath the bandage to keep it moist.

Clean the wound as much as possible. You want to get the dirt out of the injury. Then apply an antibiotic to prevent it from getting infected. While a bandage may be desired for cosmetic purposes, if it isn't dripping fluid, allowing the air to get to it and create a scab is a good thing.
