of course it hurts.. especially during swallowing, you cant eat well, you not even advised to talk.
From what I know, yes it does. Your throat will feel sore for a while
Swollen palatine tonsils may interfere with swallowing, breathing, and speaking due to the increased size of the tonsils obstructing the throat. Additionally, swollen tonsils can lead to discomfort, pain, and difficulty in properly opening the mouth. In severe cases, swollen tonsils can contribute to sleep apnea by partially blocking the airway during sleep.
The tonsils go all swollen and the tonsils also get white Stuff on them
There is a very slim (1/1000) chance that will happen don't worry!
Tonsils are lymph glands that are located in the throat. Tonsils can swell due to inflammation and/or infectious bacteria or viruses.
My throat is swollen as well as my tonsils so it may be a sign of strep throat or needing of removal of the tonsils.
Yes! The appearance of one's tonsils can tell a lot about their health. Doctor's check to see if they are swollen and such.
Yes, it hurts a lot but you get to eat a lot of ice cream. You can't talk for days. And it doesn't really help anything unless they're swollen. Everyone used to think that it helped to have your tonsils taken out you wouldn't get any more strep throat, but that was a myth.
I think its possible, I'm 18 and a couple of times each year my tonsils get extra swollen. I have overgrown tonsils and its kills me wen I swallow :( they're swollen now -_- so yes u are not alone
Yes, swollen tonsils can be a sign of an infection, such as tonsillitis, which can lead to fever. The body's immune response to the infection can cause a rise in body temperature, resulting in a fever.
Not at all they give you medications so you don't feel a thing and plus you get to eat ice cream for a day or two after it happens.
