How does someone get phobia?

Phobias you get naturally through either genetics or just your emotions. when you feel something inside you...and you just know something there you don't like, your body responds to it in a way that makes you fear that certain thing. The way to get in through genetics... which isn't as common as just emotions, is just if you see your parents of someone in your family being afraid of something and your around them alot, you start to almost copy them and you start being afraid of it too.

Phobia, along with bad habits start over time. They usually happen when somebody is told bad or negative thing's about a particular subject or thing that they have never seen or are unfamiliar with.
Phobia may also be caused by childhood fears. Thing's that haunted peoples dreams or scarred them when they were young.


In reality though, There is NO such thing as a Phobia its just an overreaction. I can't further explain how it work on the inside.

first of all, anyone can get phobias in many different ways.

they can...

a) have a bad experience (e.g. if someone's house burns down they may develop a phobia of fire)

b) They can be born with one. In fact, I was born with arachnaphobia.

c) One can just occur overtime no matter what a person has or hasn't gone through.

these are the more common ways.

Different people get different phobias in different ways but the most common way to ascertain a phobia is by having a traumatic childhood experience then you may have a phobia of something that played a great part in said experience
