(Biology Homework Ftw!)
The Respiratory is a key component of your body, being entirely necessary for humans, mammals, and vast majority of all life to survive on the earth. It is found in nearly all known living species of animals and plants.
It is required in humans so that Oxygen, from the air around us (20% of air is O2) can be taken to muscles within the body, and combusted with glucose (C6H1206) to give Energy, and CO2, which is then breathed out. At first, you may think that just muscles aren't that necessary. But muscles make up almost all your major organs, most importantly, your Heart.
The Hear beats via it's muscles to pump blood around the body. This in turn, is how Oxygen and CO2 are passed from the lungs to the muscles, and fromt he muscles to the lungs respectively.
Without this cycle, the body's muscles would not get the 02 they require to survive. This would lead to cell death on a massive scale, giving many symptons, the last and most famous of which is Death.

how does the lungs help the other systems to keep the body healthy?
The purpose of the respiratory system is to bring oxygen into the body and remove carbon dioxide. This process, known as respiration, is essential for the body to produce energy through cellular respiration. The respiratory system also helps regulate the body's pH levels and plays a role in the immune system by filtering out harmful substances from the air we breathe. Overall, the respiratory system ensures that the body receives the oxygen it needs to function properly and removes waste gases to maintain a healthy internal environment.

I think it is Respiratory System...
the respiratory system
The respiratory system brings oxygen into the body.
The trachea is the airway in the respiratory system.
The respiratory system is the organ system that moves air into and out of your body.
The purpose of the respiratory system is to bring oxygen into the body and remove carbon dioxide. It supports the body's functions by supplying oxygen to cells for energy production and removing waste carbon dioxide to maintain a healthy balance in the blood.
The lungs belong to the respiratory system.
