Most definitely when you consider the size that the foetus would be at that stage of development, in fact I would think that you would have had some serious complications before it got to that stage in the pregnancy. I was 10 weeks and they said I was lucky the tube had not ruptured already.

If you suspect from the symptoms you are experiencing that you are suffering an ectopic pregnancy I would contact your dr immediately.

Will a traditional over the counter pregnancy test indicate the presence of a Nontubial ectopic pregnancy?

The answer depends on what exactly you are asking. If your asking if a pregnancy test will show you specifically whether or not a pregnancy is in the tues or not then NO it will not. A home pregnancy test only shows that HCG has been detected in your urine. Which usually means you're pregnant. Establishing the location of the pregnancy can only be done through ultrasound with the aid of a doctor. If your concerned about ectopic please speak with your doctor. Also watch for signs of fever, spotting, and abdominal/ovary pain. Good Luck.

Does a pregnancy test read negative when you have a ectopic pregnancy?

an ectopic pregnancy has the same symptoms and signs as a regular pregnancy and you still develop the hormones you would with a normal pregnancy. The human chorionic gonadotropin levels are what cause the pregnancy test to read positive. All pregnancies have hcg levels that should be doubling every other day in early gestation.. an ectopic pregnancy may test negative if taken too early, or too late because the body will eventually,(around 6-11 weeks) begin to try to expel the pregnancy when hormone levels begin to drop when the fetus is no longer viable and must be removed Hope it helps!

What a 6 week ultrasound show?

A 6-week ultrasound typically shows the gestational sac, which is the first sign of pregnancy, and may also reveal the yolk sac, indicating early fetal development. In some cases, a tiny fetal heartbeat can be detected, providing reassurance of a viable pregnancy. At this stage, the embryo is still very small, often measuring just a few millimeters. This ultrasound helps confirm the pregnancy's location and assess its early progression.

How do you know if you had a chemical pregnancy?

A chemical pregnancy is typically diagnosed through a pregnancy test that shows positive results followed by negative results soon after, or through a blood test that detects the presence of hCG (pregnancy hormone) that later decreases. It is often characterized by early pregnancy loss before a gestational sac can be seen on an ultrasound.

I got a upper abdominal ultrasond if i was pregnant will i come out their cause usually for prengnacy the give you lower abdomial i fell im prengant but pregnancy test say no but i fell different?

It wont show on an upper abdominal ultrasound. Most times you have to have an internal ultrasound to determine early pregnancy.

At which month can a ultra sound show twins?

The best and most reliable way to confirm a twin or multiple pregnancy is to see it with an ultrasound. An ultrasound is the only guaranteed way to know whether you're carring more than one baby. An ultrasound may be able to detect multiple embryos as early as your third week of pregnancy; However, the ultrasound will be most reliable at detecting a multiple or twin pregnancy at around 6 to 8 weeks.

Today you took a pregnancy test it was negative im on day 37 of your cycle im usually 29 day cycle what do you do next can this be an ectopic pregnancy?

If it was an ectopic pregnancy, you would still show positive on a pregnancy test. Do you have any other pregnancy symptoms? I would not consider pregnancy unless you feel you may be pregnant from some other sign.

Will a home pregnancy test detect a ectopic pregnancy?

Yes, it will.I don't know who wrote that it will.... ^". Ectopic pregnancies don't always register on http://wiki.answers.com/0_home-pregnancy-tests_2029.bc, so if you suspect there's a problem, don't wait for a positive pregnancy test to contact your caregiver."source: babycenter.comyou could have an ectopic pregnancy and the test won't pick it up because your hormones aren't rising like they should so the at home test wont pick anything up..(I don't understand why people put answers when they don't know everything. I'm not a doctor or anything, but you can find out true facts on real credited resources... so at least research something before you go and write your opinion.)

Can you be pregnant for 41weeks and ultrasound couldn't detect the baby?

No, by that stage in a pregnancy, the baby would be ready to be delievered and would definitely show up on an ultrasound.

Can you tell the difference on an ultrasound scan a 6 week pregnancy to a 10 week pregnancy?

To the untrained eye, probably not. Most people can't see anything in an ultrasound pic. Later on in pregnancy though, that 4 weeks can show a lot of differences.
