How far along do you have to be before its ok to color your hair while pregnant?

i would wait until after you have the baby. hair dyes contains many toxins and chemicals there are very unhealthy, not worth the risk. If you plan on breast feeding i would wait all together to dye your hair until done nursing, alot of toxins are passedinto the mothers milk, anyting bad going into mom can end up in the baby

Colouring (no I havent spelt it wrong I'm from the UK) your hair certainly should not cause you harm in pregnancy. Having said that, be very careful not to be tempted to smell the preparation as there could be some harmful chemicals you would not want to be inhaling, such as peroxide. Make sure when colouring your hair you are in a well ventilated area, not a small enclosed space, and colour away. Remember, if there was any danger it would state it on the packaging.

Anytime is okay. From what I've read hair dye is safe. But if you want to be extra cautious wait until the 2nd trimester and do not use bleach, mostly because you are going to be breathing in all the fumes. They also have more natural products you can use on your hair that have less chemicals.
