During the Luteal phase of the menstrual cycle there is a decrease in the levels of Estrogen (Estradiol) and Progesterone which causes stimulation of Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH).
Gonadotropin releasing hormone (GnRH) stimulates the anterior pituitary to secrete Follicle-stimulating Hormone (FSH).

Oestrogens.
Sertoli cells, which are found in the testes, are stimulated primarily by follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which is produced by the pituitary gland. FSH acts on the Sertoli cells to promote sperm production and development, as well as to maintain the microenvironment necessary for sperm maturation.
FSH from the pituitary
Primordial follicles are stimulated to develop into primary follicles by the hormone called follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which is released by the pituitary gland. FSH plays a crucial role in promoting the growth and maturation of ovarian follicles in the ovary.
Being healthy is the only real stimulant of production of spermatozoa. (Sperm cells).
Thyroid gland: Stimulated by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) from the pituitary, it releases thyroid hormones that regulate metabolism. Adrenal glands: Stimulated by adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) from the pituitary, they secrete cortisol that helps in stress response. Ovaries or testes: Stimulated by luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary, they regulate reproductive functions and hormone production.

what i learned in class was that GnRH was produced by the Hypothalamus gland, and it stimulated the release of FSH and LH in the Anterior lobe of the pituitary gland.
