checking antibody levels
The adaptive immune system is activated if the innate immune system is unable to control the infection.
It can build up white blood cells to fight against the infection and if it is present again you will all ready be immune to it. That is why vaccinations have a small amount of the infection in them, so you can become immune to it later.
Opportunist infection
Epilepsy is not an infection or a virus or anything like that, so the immune system is not relevant to it. You cannot "catch" epilepsy from someone. So the immune system does not respond to epilepsy. There is nothing that it can do.
That is what HIV does. However a super infection, multiple strains of HIV infection or duel infection,HIV with hep c etc will degrade the immune system further.
You can't
Urinary tract infection bacteria can trigger the body's immune response, leading to inflammation and activation of immune cells to fight the infection. This response can cause symptoms such as pain, fever, and increased urination.
