It is possible to need chemotherapy for Cervical cancer; first of all, surgeons will try to remove the tumor by means of surgery, but you may need chemotherapy after.

If you do need chemotherapy for any reason, don't worry about it! I had to have it as I had Breast cancer for three years. I had to spend a long time in hospital (about 2 years), but what kept me going was the thought that I knew I was going to get better and I had friends, family and even teachers hoping that I got well again.

Also, if you are worried about losing your hair, DON'T PANIC! This happened to me and in the end, I decided to shave it all off because it hurt more waking up in the morning seeing clumps of hair that had fallen out over night on my pillow. When you shave all of your hair off, you feel more comfortable and you could make some fun out of it. (My hair was down to my bum, it was hard to bear the thought, but after all, you'd sooner lose you hair then have cancer.)

If you want any more advice on how to cope, just let me know! I got through it and I hope you do too! Get well soon!
