No, Methadone will show up as methadone because it has its own specific test that is used to detect it.
I actually read in several articles that doctors have to do a separate drug test for Methadone to detect it. Normally, they wont do this. They'll just check for the common drugs. So I think you should be okay... unless this place ends up asking for a drug test for Methadone since drug addicts are far more common these days. I'm not entirely sure how long it takes for Methadone to get out of your system, I know it can take quite a while due to its long half-life, but it depends on how long you've been taking it and how much you've been taking. If you've only taken one half of a Methadone one time, I'd give it at least a 4 days to a week before feeling confident.
Methadone, does not show up on normal drug tests, that test for opiates. I was drug tested by the state for legal reasons, and methadone did not show up. Most employers drug tests would not detect methadone. Methadone is a synthetic opiate, and unless a specific test is done for blood serum levels of methadone, it will not show up. I have also given urine samples for jobs, and methadone does not show up, EVER!!!
No. Methadone requires a special test so It WILL NOT show up on a panel test unless it is specifically requested.
