There is no treatment. But there are several things that help. Keep a pillow between your legs when sleeping. It should be thick enough to keep thighs parallel with each other. You should try to keep knees together as much as possible. Walking doesn't aggravate it but wide spreading ( left from right) hurts. Ex. When getting out of a chair move both legs to side at same then stand. Also, if you have an SUV try to hop up lifting leg high & to the side is the worse! It does heal but it took a long time!!!
