Numbness after hip surgery can vary significantly from person to person, depending on factors such as the type of surgery performed and the individual's healing process. Generally, it may take anywhere from a few days to several weeks for numbness to subside. In some cases, it could persist for a few months, especially if nerves were affected during the procedure. It's essential to consult with your healthcare provider for personalized advice and monitoring of your recovery.

This question should have been posed in another way, "Is there any chance of subluxation/luxation of a hip, no matter with or without hip prosthesis?"... And the answer is YES....so if you go for a total hip replacement, remember that you might unfortunately experience subluxations here too.. Sincerely, H.A.Khan

However, it's important to consult your doctor before using a hot tub to ensure it’s safe for your specific situation, especially regarding any other health conditions or concerns related to your hip replacement.

Yes, you can go on a jet boat tour after a hip replacement, but it's essential to consult your doctor first. Recovery time varies, and factors like your overall health and the specifics of your surgery will influence your readiness. If cleared, make sure to choose a tour that accommodates your mobility needs and allows you to enjoy the experience comfortably. Always listen to your body and prioritize safety during your recovery.
