Where did leukemia first start?

It is not possible to trace back the earliest historical appearance of leukemia. Bear in mind that throughout most of human history, leukemia would not have been correctly diagnosed if someone did have it, because of a lack of medical knowledge. In pre-historic times this disease or pretty much any other disease would have been seen as an attack by evil spirits. In later ages it might have been described as an ague or some other such vaguely defined illness. Not until the 20th century would it have been diagnosed as leukemia. But if I were to venture a guess, I would say that leukemia has probably been around since the earliest days of the human species, about half a million years ago. Though from my knowlege and reaserch, has shown that the first sign of Leukemia was in 1902 in Greece... The male died several weeks later, with only flue like signs. Though no one is able to tell if it was Luekemia but that is the best sign.
