Until at least a couple of days after you begin a course of antibiotics. Note that the ENTIRE course of antibiotics must be taken in order to make sure the infection does not recur. If you only take the antibiotic till the symptoms are gone, there may still be bacteria in your urinary tract that were not yet killed.
bladder infection-- i had that; and it was a bladder infection. go to the hospital, get medicine no big deal.
I would say yes it can because my last period was 2 days early, and 2 weeks after my period I am now having symptoms of UTI so that`s why I believe they can effect the other.
An urinary tract infection happens when bacteria travels from the urethra to the bladder. Incubation times varies from a few days to a few weeks depending on the type of bacteria that caused the infection.
The only thing that comes to mind is a bladder infection. But if it were a bladder infection, you would probably be getting other symptoms such as a burning sensation when you urinate, as well as having to go to the bathroom more than usual.
an overactive bladder, but that is probably something you are born with (im no doctor) If this just started happening, maybe you just drink more liquids or maybe your pregnant. I would doubt you would be pregnant because my girlfriend and i have had that scare and she seems to have to pee alot before her next period. If it becimes overwhelming i would see a doctor though.
When I had my fungal bladder infection the symptoms were exactly the same as a normal bacterial UTI in fact the doctor in the ER treated it as a bacterial bladder infection it wasn't until I went to my primary doctor and had more testing done just 2 days later that it was found to be fungal. The only thing that was different was that there were large floating particles in my urine my doctor told me these were collanies of fungi the smell of my urine was different than when I had bacterial bladder infections. Mind you I have had several bacterial UTI's. I hope this helps you If you do have a fungal bladder infection and are female they need to check and see if you have the same infection in you vagina.
If you are having it only when you urinate, i would check with a doctor that you dont have a bladder infection, as this can cause a lot of the symptoms, and could lead to a serious kidney infection if not dealt with.
Symptoms of intestinal infection occur within two days of eating contaminated seafood. Symptoms last for two to 10 days and include watery diarrhea,
10 days
Large amounts of water and cranberry juice is your best bet. But if the infection does not go away in a couple of days, see your doctor!
The main symptom of a yeast infection is itchiness. There is over-the-counter medication that cures most yeast infections, but they also have stronger prescription medication if you have a more resistant strain. The main symptoms of a bladder infection surrounds urination. When i get them, I feel like i have to pee a lot more often and more urgently (even though i dont need to and may not even be able to), and in more severe cases it is painful to pee. Bladder infections can be caused by not urinating after sex, and in one case the symptoms hit me 12 hours after the act. I get the antibiotic ciprofloxacin prescribed, which should resolve the problem within 3 days.
It all depends upon the severity of the infection. For instance, it would be suggested to flush out your system with cranberry juice for a mild form of bladder infection. Natural treatments such as flotrol or UTI clear can be taken for a mild to medium type of infection. For the more severe type, a doctors prescribed full course of antibiotics or if that does not work, surgery.
