At 2 weeks pregnant the kitten to be doesn't look like a kitten yet, so size in inches doesn't mean anything. Between week 2 and week 4 the kitten forms all their organs. At the end of week 3 the kittens to be are about the size of a walnut!. (Close to 1 inch?)
Kitties are pregnant for around 61 to 70 days. If your kitty is an out door kitty but you want her to give birth inside for the safety of all concerned, from 6 weeks on keep her inside. Show her her litter box and keep it cleaned out for her. Kitties are very clean animals and some don't even like sharing a litter box.
Kitties try to have their babies as far away from prying eyes as possible. So make sure everyone keeps drawers closed and even doors shut if you don't want her giving birth in a toy box, under a bed or in the dresser drawer with your favorite clothes.
Take a box that is big enough for her to walk around in, put some news papers and cut up rags in it and put in someplace warm and away from traffic. Also have a litter box and a bowl of fresh water available for her. Start trying to get her used to the idea that this is a good place for her to sleep as soon as you can. Stay away from it when she is in it, drape a towel across the top to cover about 2/3's of it, so she knows she will have her privacy.
The gestation period for a cat is usually around 9 weeks =)
A house cat is pregnant for about 63-65 days, which is roughly 9 weeks.
7-9 weeks. ;)
Do you mean how long they stay pregnant? if so its 9 weeks.
I don't have a 3 week pregnant cat with a skin problem
a cat will be pregnant for about 6 to 7 weeks
If heavily pregnant, yes, the cat will most likely be showing. At sometime around the fifth week of pregnancy, you will probably be able to notice the cat's stomach is getting a little bigger and rounder. A cat's nipples become enlarged and become very pink around three weeks into the pregnancy. This is the easiest sign to see if your cat is pregnant. If you are unsure, it is best to go to a vet who can scan your cat which will tell you if your cat is expecting kittens, and possibly how many.
Usually 58 days to 65 days so approximately 9 weeks
Yes, this is possible.
They act normal, except they sleep a lot more than usual. My old cat had 5 litters of kittens, and everytime I walked outside while she was pregnant, she was always sleeping.
Cats will give birth 62 days (plus or minus 2 days) from the date of conception. The longest period of time a cat will be pregnant is 69 days the shortest is about 61-62.
Well it has to "get" pregnant first but it usually takes up to 8 weeks i think
