It depends on the ribs, back ribs the only type we us come in various sizes even from the same butcher. Most back ribs will come with 12 to 14 ribs per rack, so cutting them in half each person will get 6 or 7 ribs. Some big eaters can eat a whole rack but most can eat half and that is a hardy meal.
