A degree in business or hospitality would certainly help you understand the economics involved. However, if you have savvy and/or have experience working the different positions in a restaurant, you might be okay. You would definitely want to seek advice and counsel--and bring a significant amount of money--to your enterprise. It is not easy to successfully start and maintain a restaurant due to the labor involved.

This answer varies, it really does depend what type of restaurant you're referring to. A normal restaurant might require you to graduate from a High School. If you're looking for a more prestigious restaurant, expect around 2 to 4 years of college. The restaurant might also have extra requirements in their applications, such as outstanding grades or you must have been pro efficient in a certain high school or college class.
4 years of undergraduate school are required. You are also required to take at least 2 years of medical schooloing.
