3 ways to help the depressed. 1. Make sure aunt has visited Psychiatrist personally, that her diagnosis has been made and that aunt is taking all treatment, such as counseling, medicines, as prescribed by the doctor. This is the most important step without which all else is useless. 2. The other things are to do whatever small errands that are necessary, which because of depression she is not able to do. Example: paying bills, cooking, home maintenance kind of things. 3. Assure her that the depression will pass away and she will be alright. Remind her how lovable and sweet she is. This is to neutralize her feelings of being worthless, hopeless.
Pray for them.

You'd be surprised what talking to your depressed son might do. Have a dinner together and talk about what is bother him. If that doesn't help, maybe some family therapy.
If your boyfriend is depressed and you love him you should try to convince him to get help. He can see his doctor to talk about the depression and possibly get some medication to help him. It can be hard to cope when someone you love is depressed. Just be strong and be there for him and let him know that you care.
Go help somebody.
