Are there any ways to cure spiral stenosis?

Spiral stenosis, also known as foraminal stenosis, is a condition where the spinal canal narrows, leading to compression of the spinal cord or nerve roots. While there is no definitive cure for spiral stenosis, treatment options aim to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. These may include physical therapy, medications, epidural steroid injections, and in severe cases, surgery to decompress the affected nerves. It is important to consult with a healthcare provider to determine the most appropriate treatment plan based on individual circumstances.

What would happen if the joint in neck was replaced by shoulder joint?

There is not one "joint" in the neck. It is a series of complicated joints that have a place for the spinal cord to go through and the bones of the spine protect the spinal cord. The cervical spine has more than just one ROM and that could not be accomplished with a shoulder joint.

Is 56 yr young to have spinal facet arthropathy?

Hi, No it is not, I am 47 yrs & I have it along with Lumbar spinal stenosis. You can get this due to injury, accidents & wear & tear I believe. My facet joint was damaged due to being assaulted so I can tell you along with the stenosis it is a 24/7 painful suffering & due to being a high risk patient for any surgery let alone for a back Op I have no choice but to put up with it. However I would like to know what I am to look forward to in the future, (the outcome of untreated spinal stenosis / facet Arthropathy) ie how long before I become totally housebound or in a wheelchair but I have been unable to find anything online. If anybody here knows, please feel free to inform me. Thanks

How does damage to the spinal cord affect your mental processes and behavior?

Spinal injury does not affect mental processing at all. This is save for the psychological effects of having to come to terms with the disability. It would also not affect the base personality of the injured person - the behviour of the injured person would remain the same - depending on the mobility requirement of the behaviour you are referring to - as well as the psychological acceptance level of the individual.
