To get water out of your ear, you can twist your head from side to side. Then nod your head towards the floor and hit the opposite side of your head with the palm of your hand. The water will come out by force.

What to do if the water of swimming pool goes in your ear and you cant hear properly?

Lay your head to the side, with the affected ear up side. Pour a cap of rubbing alchol into ear, let stand for about 30 seconds, then tip head and let drain. If this does not help, repeat one more time. Alcohol displaces the water and pushes it out, the alcohol then evaporates. If this does not help, I suggest seeing your doctor.

Can you give someone an ear infection by yelling at them?

No, ear infections are NOT contagious.

How do you remove water in the ear?

Water can not get in your inner ear (the parts all the way inside with the bones) unless it is fluid from inside your body, and therefore, water can not get out of your inner ear to the outside of your body. If it were to happen and somehow water got in your inner ear, you would need to get emergency help from a physician. It is similarly not typical to have water able to get in the middle ear (the part just behind your ear drum), unless you have a hole in your eardrum, missing eardrum, or an anatomical variation. You can get infections in the middle ear that can cause a build up of fluids and feel like water in your ear, but you can not get that out of your middle ear without physician prescribed treatment such as antibiotics. Where you can get water in your ears is in the external ear, which includes all the parts of your ear that you can see and into the ear canal as far as the eardrum. This can be called "swimmer's ear". For information on how to get water out of your external ear, see the related question below.

What household items you can use for swimming ear?

Swimmer's ear usually occurs after water gets trapped in the ear canal. An easy home remedy using a white vinegar and water mixture used right away may help to release the pressure and clear the ear. A teaspoon of half water and half vinegar should be poured into each ear and held in place with a gentle cotton ball if the pain is not too bad.Tylenol or Motrin can be given to help with the pain
