Breathe.

Yes, holding your breath for an extended period of time can deprive your brain of oxygen, leading to potential damage and brain cell loss. It is important to avoid prolonged breath-holding to protect brain function.
They aren't. They're really good at holding their breath, but every now and then they have to surface and take a breath or two before diving again.
well if you drink some water while holding your breath that has always work for me but if that doesn't work just hold your breath and than let it out really slowly
A whale CAN drown- they cannot stay underwater indefinitely. When underwater, they hold their breath. They are REALLY good at holding their breath, and their bodies have adapted to doing that.
You start out by sucking in air and holding it as long as you can with out passing out. Then once you finally have to breath again, wait a couple of seconds (or minutes if you need to) and do it all over again. Repeat that over and over; it will take longer than a couple minutes; but it will eventually work. And that is how you hold your breath for a really long time!
Apparently it's that you "really felt nauseous". Methamphetamine is an amphetamine. It has an effect on the body that's somewhat similar to that of adrenaline.
That really can't be answered, since everyone has a different tolerance of how long they can hold their breath. However, the world record for holding their breath was set by David Blaine, with an astonishing 17 minutes and 4.4 seconds.
Squat breathe really fast while concentrating for twenty seconds then stand up quick and blow ur thumb as hard as you can while holding ur breathe. And ur welcome
give her everything she wants and be really nice to her
Well, the answer to your question is that holding your breath does not stop hiccups. In fact, pouring yourself a drink of anything, really, and bending your neck down, then drinking it, stops them. I'm laughing at this answer, because as you drink a whole glass of "anything, really", whether your neck is bent down, up, or sideways ... unless you are holding your breath while you do so, it doesn't work. if you are drinking AND breathing, that's called "sipping", and it does nothing to help your hiccups. but if you are NOT drinking anything, but just taking the biggest breath you can take and then holding it as long as you can, the hiccups go away. it may take more than one try ...but it works. EVERY TIME. i'm no doc, but i just did it right now, this very second.it took 2 tries, but it works. EVERY TIME, with drinking, without drinking, with my neck holding ANY way whatsoever ...it's all about the breath, and holding it does the trick. i've heard, "eat a spoonful of sugar", "drink vinegar" "drink a glass of water upside down" lay on your side and whistle dixe out your butt as hard as you can (ok, that last i just made up to press the POINT =) ... that no matter WHAT remedy you go for ...it's the holding your breath THRU that exercise that does the trick. i mean, really, when was the last time you whistled dixie out your tuckas without holding your breath WHILE you were doing it, hmm? EXACTLY. hold your breath. hold it long, hold it strong, just do it. it works. they WILL go away. =]
Holding your breath for one minute is really difficult, so you should take some deep breaths before going underwater.
