After 16 days of ovulation a pregnancy test be positive.
you could get a positive pregnancy test on Thursday, however, it is not a pregnancy resulting from the unsafe sex on Monday. ~pawsalmighty
After your ovulation takes place, you'll need to wait at least 10 days to take a pregnancy test and, hopefully, get positive results. Good luck!
Using an early pregnancy test or EPT, you can test for pregnancy 15-16 days after a positive ovulation test, or 14 days after ovulation.

No as it is best to wait until you miss you period.
Yes. They do. Usually after 14 day of ovulation menses starts, if a lady is not pregnant. In irregular cycles, ovulation is also irregular and pregnancy test usually requires certain level of Human Chorionic Gonadothrophin hormone to be detected and as such they give false Negative results.(Fertilized ovum takes about 8 days to implant in uterus and then starts to secrete H. C. G. and till then most sensitive test can not become positive.) By the way, irregular cycles lower down the chances of pregnancy and it is NOT a disease but routine preventive check up by your Doctor is good for EVERYBODY.( A stitch in time, saves nine !)

A positive pregnancy test, or you will deliver a child approx 9 months later!
No Luteinizing hormone is secreted as part of the monthly menstrual cycle. It triggers ovulation and allows retention of the corpus luteum. The hormone secreted during pregnancy is called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG).
Most women can get a clearly positive home pregnancy test 14 to 16 days after ovulation.
