If you're experiencing increased pain after multiple visits for a root canal, it's important to contact your dentist immediately to discuss your symptoms. Pain can indicate that the procedure may not have been fully successful, or there could be other underlying issues. Your dentist may need to reassess the situation and possibly perform additional treatment. In the meantime, over-the-counter pain relief and avoiding hard foods may help alleviate discomfort until you can get to the dentist.

Many times when the canal was deep and infected the dentist will use special files to widen the canal. This is essentially removing tissue from the tooth. this can cause the gums to be sore. Now if the root was not all removed you would feel pain in the exact tooth. thanks for reading.. Http://www.BrowardDDS.com is my Dental website.
I went to Dr. Xavier Aguirre in Nuevo Progresso and was very happy with the results. It cost for a root canal, didn't need a crown. My dentist in Dallas wanted to do the root canal and a crown for . The Dr. explained everything in detail. I felt I received much better treatment with Dr. Aguirre than any U.S. dentist I've gone to. www.draguirre.com But watch out, because most of the times when you do a root canal you would need a crown to preserve the tooth and make it solid. If you cannot afford the crown, that is understandable, but if you could, it is very recommended that you put one on your tooth.
He was a silversmith and worked at times as a dentist.

You asked the magic question and should get a reward for it! It sounds as if you are going into dentistry and you'll be good at it. I've heard nothing about "how much will a dentist, doctor or lawyer make." One should be concerned about relaxing the patient and gain the trust of the patient. A high percentage of people are extremely afraid of the dentist. I just had a lot of work done on my teeth before my husband retires and I use to be terrified of dentists, but my dentist is so good I fell asleep several times in the dentist chair! A good dentist should have their patients children come in at the age of 4 (not to have work done on them in particular) but to get in the chair, get use to the environment so when the children need to come to the dentist they won't be so fearful. Dentists that are good are more concerned about the pain than the bill when it comes to their patient. Of course dentists need to make a living, but if it's a person who has looked after their teeth or perhaps can't afford to have good dental care then a good dentist would make the time to do all they could with what they had. My dentist gives 2 days a month to work on patients that can't afford to have their teeth done.
