This looks like it could have been implantation bleeding since it was a week after you ovulated and since it was brownish in color. However, a week seems to be a long time for implantation bleeding. Perhaps it started out as implantation bleeding but then the implantation failed and you got your period.
Yes-- it's possible. It happened to me. If you ovulated 6-12 days before your period was due and the egg was fertilized, you could have implantation (and bleeding) on the day of your period!
No, sounds like a period
If you ovuluated later in your cycle, yes. Implantation usually occurs 6 - 10 days after conception. So if you ovulated later, say on day 15 or 16, you could have implantation bleeding up till day 25 or 26. So, it could be possible....
It is possible but not very likely. Implantation bleeding would occur after ovulation, which is more than a week after most periods end. For implantation bleeding to happen, you would have had to ovulate first, and afterwards it would have to be around a week before you see any spotting. If your periods are irregular then it is still possible, since you could have ovulated during the last days of your period. However, if you have some extra stuff like brown discharge coming out this soon after your period has ended, it's probably old blood and isn't much to worry about.
ovulated???
That seems a bit early to me, but it is probably possible. Although I'm not sure how you know when you ovulated, unless you are testing yourself regularly. Wait another day or two and take a test or go see a doctor. Typically you ovulate around day 14 of your cycle and bleed (the onset of your period) on day 28. With this in mind, I'm not sure if I understand your question. If you haven't found an answer, please feel free to clarify your question. (I am currently working on my RN degree with a focus on women's health). I am a nurse. Not everyone is on a 28 day cycle. Some people do know when they ovulate because they have ovulation pains. If your period starts 14 days after you have these pains then you can bet you ovulated on that day. But, no you probably wouldn't experience implantation bleeding 3 days after ovulation. There is a widespread misconception that you ovulate 14 days after the start of your period. This is not TRUE! You actually ovulate 14 days before the start of your next period. Implantation will generally take place about 5 days on average after conception. The fertilized embryo needs time to travel down the fallopian tube while dividing. On the fifth day it will become a blastocyst. Only then can it implant into the uterine wall, which occasionally causes implantation bleeding. A lot of people talk about implantation bleeding but very few seem to actually get it; it's a very unreliable sign of pregnancy.
No, two days after your period you may not have even ovulated...let alone concieved and the fertilised egg travelled down the fallopian tubes to implant in the uterus. Bleeding two days after your period is likely just spotting at the end of your period, or may be ovulation spotting.
White or clear discharge a few weeks before an expected menstrual cycle typically means that a woman is or has ovulated. Ovulation is the release of an egg from the ovaries. This egg, when fertilized by semen, becomes an embryo, attaches to the uterine wall, and develops into a fetus A common first symptom of pregnancy is "spotting" or implantation bleeding, which can be mistaken for an early, very light period; however, not all women experience this symptom.
I'm definitely not an expert but I'd say this is an excellent sign that your body ovulated and you're having a normal period. Perhaps it's not as heavy as your usual period because there was less lining this month following the m/c?
If you had implantation bleeding then that means you are pregnant. Implantation bleeding is a result of the fertilized egg implanting itself into the uterine wall. Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. Usually a implantation bleed will happen just after ovulation so mid cycle, it will depend if you ovulated later then usual, some women can test a couple days early to when they would be due but I highly recommended that you you restrain from doing that as you may get a false negative wait till the day or day after you would be due
I have the same problem, was wondering if anyone could answer, it's a little nerve racking but I have had paps done, a uterine lining sample taken, etc. Both came back normal. I found it's worse when I get tired, I was on night shifts had some sort of bleeding the entire time. It's not heavy but brown-ish and I have mild cramps along with it. I red it could be from ovulating but I have been ttc and have been doing the ovulation tests daily and it hasn't shown I have ovulated yet. Can anyone please give some ideas? thanks
