you may be bleeding even if you are pregnant
If you are having a period, you are not pregnant. However many women confuse their periods with vaginal bleeding and vaginal bleeding can be a sign of pregnancy particularly in early pregnancy.
Spotting after a pap smear is common, particularly during pregnancy. All bleeding during pregnancy should be discussed with your health care provider.
Usually no period indicates pregnancy. The time at which a woman is most likely to get pregnant is several days after she stops Menstruating (bleeding) in a woman with a 28 day menstrual cycle she is most likely to get pregnant on days 11 to 15 inclusive after the day she started bleeding. that means that on average she has stopped bleeding several days before she reaches her fertile stage. When a woman is bleeding she can not get pregnant assuming that the bleeding is a normal menstruation. If a woman becomes pregnant normally she will stop having any sort of menstruation.
recommend returning to your doctor, there may be some complications with the pregnancy.
The answer to this question is yes. Many women experience what seems to be a normal menstrual cycle during the first month of their pregnancy.
It's unlikely but still possible, get a second pregnancy test if your worried
You could be. You should go see your doctor and get a blood test to know for sure.
I asked this question. I'm 18 and have a feeling I am/was pregnant. I started bleeding dark red/brownish blood and last night some tissue looking stuff passed out of me. I have no idea what's going on. If I am/was pregnant, it would only be like 3 or 4 weeks into the pregnancy.
Could be implantation bleeding. If it is your actual period then it's unlikely that you are pregnant.
If you know for sure that you are pregnant, it is probably not going to be your period, although some women have experienced a "first" period then learns a couple of weeks later that they really are pregnant. It is possible that it could be implantation bleeding caused by the fertilized egg to attach itself to the uterine wall. Or it could be a cervical change that can cause vaginal bleeding. Vaginal bleeding can also be a symptom of ectopic (tubal) pregnancy. Another cause for bleeding during pregnancy is a miscarriage although the first two reasons for bleeding are more common, it is still a good idea to contact your doctor if you are too concerned.
You may be pregnant. See your doctor for a blood test.
Wait a full week or more after you stop bleeding before you take a pregnancy test. The bleeding could mean an early miscarriage, or it could mean that it's your period and that you're not pregnant at all. However, some women bleed throughout their pregnancies. Definitely check with your doctor on more about this though. kate ok kate let me clear something up for you...a female can definitely have a period and be pregnant. some women even have a period throughout their whole pregnancy. and since pregnancy and period symptoms are basically the same it makes it hard to really tell. every women is different so the only way for the lady that ask the question to really find out is to go to her doctor. yes pregnancy test can be accurate but her doctor is the best choice. it is called decidual bleeding. look it up it explains it all. it is physically impossible to have a period and be pregnant. its decidual bleeding
