Not necessarily
You can use castor oil.
No. Castor oil can in some cases help start labor when you are fully gone.
i think that if the mucus plug comes out, you're labor should start in 24 to 48 hours.
Any moment now.
Just because Castor oil might start labor when you are fully gone, does not mean it can be used in abortion. It can not.
Being 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced indicates that you are in the early stages of labor, but it's difficult to predict exactly when active labor will begin. Some women may progress quickly and go into labor within hours, while others may take days. Monitoring contractions and other signs of labor is essential, as these will provide better indications of when labor is imminent. Always consult your healthcare provider for personalized guidance.
The baby probably isn't ready yet. Where I went to the hospital if you were 5cm dialated they would keep you and induce labor. you can be zero dilated and be in labor. As soon as your muscles start contracting you are in labor and have pains.
Being 37 weeks pregnant, 2 cm dilated, and 80% effaced indicates that your body is preparing for labor, but it doesn't guarantee that labor will start imminently. Some women may remain in this state for days or even weeks before labor begins, while others may go into labor soon after these changes occur. It's important to monitor your symptoms and communicate with your healthcare provider about any concerns.
Could be hours to days to weeks. Everyone is different. You will probably start active labor within 24 hours. There is no stopping labor at this point.
When a woman is 100 percent effaced, it means the cervix has fully thinned out in preparation for labor. However, the onset of real contractions can vary significantly from person to person. For some, contractions may start almost immediately, while for others, it could take several hours or even days before active labor begins. Monitoring for contractions and consulting with a healthcare provider is essential during this stage.
It could. In a first time mom effacement is often the slowest part of labor and you are already half way there! Once labor starts you will start dilating and finish effacing. When you begin - your cervix may still be closed tight or it could be a "finger tip" meaning slightly less than 1 cm or you may start dilating before labor and walk around at 3 cm or more for a week or two. Once you are 10 cm and completely effaced you will start pushing and your baby will make his or her grand entrance. Congratulations!
