Consult your gynaecologist. This may result from some infection in your uterus or maybe its some change in your body's hormones. Either way, if you miss your period, then go for a pregnancy test else if unusual period continues, do consult the doc.
If this is unusual for you then see your Dr for a pregnancy blood test.

Dark brown period blood usually appears near the end of your period.
Dark red blood flowing from a wound indicates bleeding from the veins. Applying direct pressure to the wound can help to stop the flow of blood.
Hello - This bleeding could be due to pregnancy or due to irregular period bleeding. See your doctor hun for a blood test. dark thick blood just means you have a bunch of hemoglobin in it.. Hemoglobin is the stuff that slowes the flow in your blood when you get a cut. A light period for irregular period women seems pretty normal.. if you have light cycles you could have a estrogen deficiancy.. I would see your doctor if you are trying to get pregnant and have not yet.
This can happen. Its suggested the continual bleeding, dark blood or frequent discomfort followed by bleeding should be checked with a doctor
Clots during pregnancy is usually a indication of a miscarriage. Brown bleeding is usually old blood which isn't a normal period.
The blood from your period should be dark, not bright, red because it is "old" blood that the uterus sheds. It is also normal to see clots or lumps of blood during your period.
If you have dark spotting one week after your period ended, it could be because your uterus did not expel all of the blood out during your period. Certain medications, stress and hormonal changes are other reasons. If there is a possibility that you could be pregnant, it could be implantation bleeding.
This is just normal spotting. Spotting is when small amounts of blood mix with discharge, dark brown just means the blood is taking time to leave the body and thus is going brown. There's no reason to think that this is anything unusual.
It all depends on where in your cycle you were when you had sex and started bleeding. The bleeding could just be from the sex itself, you may have gotten a scratch or tear inside that is bleeding, you could be starting your period early or you could be experiencing implantation bleeding. If it is implantation bleeding it may be bright pink or dark brown and only enough to be considered 'spotting' and not a period. If it is heavy bleeding it is not implantation bleeding. You can take a test in 1.5 to 2 weeks. Good Luck!
Three types of external bleeding are arterial, venous, and capillary bleeding. Arterial bleeding is characterized by bright red blood that spurts with each heartbeat, indicating a severed artery. Venous bleeding involves dark red blood that flows steadily, coming from a damaged vein. Capillary bleeding is usually minor, with oozing blood from small cuts or abrasions, appearing dark red and pooling at the surface.
