In August 1968, the Anhui Revolutionary Commission renamed it "Bengbu Anti-Revisionism Medical College". In November 1970, the Revolutionary Commission decided to merge four medical colleges in Anhui into one "Anhui Medical College". Thus it became Anhui Medical College, Bengbu Campus. In June 1974, the [State Council of the People's Republic of China|State Council]approved the college resumed the name "Bengbu Medical College".''Foreign Studnet Program''Foreign student intake started in 2007 without any proper aproval from the Ministry Of Education or from W.H.O. The Foreign student program is running as a private owned system, totally under Mr. Pervaiz Iqbal.''Reported Suicide Cases''About 4 Suicide cases have been reported by Pakistani Students. But due to lack of teaching staff, non-approval form the Chinese to attend labs and reported very bad behaviour of Director of admissions(Mr.Pervaiz Iqbal)towards the students, many students have left the college.
