Is Barry Gibb Diabetic

To the best of my knowledge, Barry Gibb is not diabetic. For many many years Barry and his wife Linda, have been the honorary chairpersons for the annual Love and Hope Ball and Tournament in Miami Beach, in which the money raised is all given to the Diabetes association. Health-wise, Barry DOES have rheumatoid arthritis in his hands, which is incredibly painful. He's also had some back problems, having had at least 1 surgery to correct the problem.
