it should be around £500. that was the price for my dog!:) Mine was free, just look around, and go to diffrent town, and you will find the perfect dog for free. It's better when there free because they choose you, not you choosing them.
A "Heinz 57" dog is a mixed breed dog of uncertain ancestry- a mutt. The name refers to the "57 varieties" Heinz slogan.
Go here for an explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixed-breed_dog Simply put, the correct term is "Heinz 57" not just "Heinz" as the number 57 is a reference to the number of (secret, therefore unknown) ingredients that make up the sauce. When used to describe animals (most often dogs) the term "Heinz 57" means the dog is a mutt or mongrel (of unknown or mixed breeds) and not a purebred.

Mutt. In my grandfather's day they also used to call them Heinz 57s, after the steak sauce with 57 ingredients.
Well... Mongrels have different breeds of parents. E.g. A labradoodle has a Labradoor mum and a poodle dad, vice versa. And that labradoors dad could have been a collie! A bit like a strange family tree!! But the reason we call them 'Heinz 57's' is because Heinz has lots of products. Like ketchup, spagetti, meetballs and even sweets! But think of it this way; the spagetti's dad could have been the meetballs and the ketchup could have been the mum! Not really... of course.......
