A 5mm front gap can be considered too big for effective bonding, as it may compromise the structural integrity and aesthetic appearance of the bonded materials. Ideally, gaps for bonding should be minimal to ensure a strong adhesion. Larger gaps can lead to insufficient bonding surface area and may require additional filler materials or specialized bonding techniques to achieve a secure bond. It's best to consult bonding guidelines specific to the materials being used for the most accurate assessment.

ask your dentists if he could place some bonding on them to fill the gap, and if he could file them slightly to shorten them. That would only take one visit.
Bonding would be cheapist, veneers are higher quality, braces correct the problem. It depends person to person. Veneers are very expensive. Either one would correct the gap, if you are a candidate for them.
Coal is not from any "big gap" . It is a solid part of the subterranean strata. In fact a big gap is left when coal is removed.

The gap between the front teeth is called a diastema. The scientific name is diastema. If it is big, it can only cause aesthetic problems, and it can get fixed by many ways in dentistry (Orthodontics, bondings, veneers). But if it is small, some people just like having it, and it is ok.
