In a short answer, no. But seeing as most people are oblivious to this I shall elaborate on that answer. It is not widely known that a woman performing the oral could, if they have it, pass on a virus.

The HPV is ,female readers may already know what HPV stands for, human papillomavirus. It may be said that many men and women may know it as the Cervical cancer virus.

Now there is already strong research showing that HPV can cause cervical cancer, but also other various forms of cancers including anal cancer, penile cancer and cancer of the vulva.

But new research is starting to paint a strong picture that HPV could also be responsible for many cases of mouth and throat cancer and some scientists are starting to think that in the next couple of decades mouth and throat cancer will overtake cervical cancer as the most common cancer caused by HPV. But it gets worse.

The research into this is still taking place but it would seem that a woman carrying HPV could herself be safe from any ill effects but once the virus is transmitted via oral sex then the HPV becomes hyper active in the males body and then there is quite a high risk that the male will then develop symptoms that would indicate the on set of mouth or throat cancer over the next few weeks or months.

There is even a hypothesis that argues the HPV actually alters the females behavior making her more likely to perform oral so as to increase the chances of the HPV being passed to the male.

So needless to say the best thing to do is get yourself checked and your partner but failing that I will fall back on 1 of my older brother's favorite sayings.
