Yes, a cold is a disease. It is not common practice for us to view a cold as a disease as the cold has been around for so long and doesn't appear to cause too much damage for many people unless they have underlying conditions. It is a viral disease affecting the nasal mucosa lining. Just keep googling to find more interesting facts :o)
