im not for sure about the rbc but i can answer on the hemoglobin level. Depending on your age and gender, 12.1 is probably a low normal reading for most people. Still healthy, but not healthy enough to be a blood donor.
Hemoglobin carries the oxygen on the RBC's
Cardiovascular specifically carries hemoglobin in RBC
Hemoglobin
The red blood cells don't loose hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the protein the oxygen binds to. So I think a better question is " What is the colour of RBC's without oxygen?" And the answer in a dark red.
Anemia is a decrease in the oxygen-carrying ability of the blood. causes decreaes in rbc number inadaquate hemoglobin content in rbc abnormal hemoglobin in rbc.... human anatomy classic
Hemoglobin
One RBC contains about 250 million Hemoglobin molecules
Each red blood cell can carry approximately 270 million hemoglobin molecules. Hemoglobin is the protein responsible for transporting oxygen from the lungs to the body's tissues and carbon dioxide from the tissues back to the lungs.
The danger zone for red blood cell (RBC) count in males typically falls below 4.7 million cells per microliter. A count significantly lower than this threshold may indicate anemia, which can lead to fatigue, weakness, and other health complications. It's important for individuals with low RBC counts to consult a healthcare provider for evaluation and potential treatment.
just to accommodate more hemoglobin for better oxygen transport
i think...red blood cells or (RBC's) ..RBC's contains hemoglobin which turn brigth red when it combines with iron..Hemoglobin is very important to prevent a defeciency disease, called anemia.. am i right?:-D i hope i can help answered by:gera lee deniega
NB! not well fomulated question.... Hemoglobin is inside RBC Lipids and protein molecules make the membranous part of RBC Erythropoetin enhances RBC production
