For curios mind only, do not use for self diagnosis: Text book of a healthy adult is 120/70 mmHg. This is average and is different from person to person based on age, weight, gender, fitness, and diet. Even knowing all of the factors and what you did the 5 minutes before the blood pressure was taken, with out a baseline of blood pressures one can not conclude if this blood pressure is high for you or not.
