No the only time it hurts is when they tighten and just take Tylenol for that. Or if you get hit in the mouth. Other than that it doesn't really bother you.
You will love the results when they take them off!!!!
The first time you get braces you will feel pain for between 3-7 days depending on the person (if it goes on for longer than a week contact your othodontist). During this time it will often be difficult to chew food and your teeth might start hurting as the wire is moving them and your body isn't used to this. After the 3-7 days your body will become accustomed to it and you will often not feel it. This is why it will hurt when they re-tighten them, your body will need to get used to it again :)
Had my braces on yesterday and i'm unable to eat solid foods :(
Ibuprofen worked the best for me when I had braces but any pain killer would take the pain away
Yes. There may be slight to severe pain when your braces are tightened. The amount of pain depends on how much tightening is done.
If your teeth hurt, braces will not reduce the pain. Therefore, the state will not pay for them.
yes you can.. I'm sixteen and i have braces and you will find it less stressful if you have alcohol in your system. The pain of braces are high, and i usually drink some alcohol when i get my braces tightend. they tend to numb the pain down.
There is no specific world record for the most pain experienced with braces as pain tolerance can vary greatly among individuals. Pain levels with braces are typically manageable and can be alleviated with over-the-counter pain medications as needed. It is important to consult with your orthodontist if you are experiencing significant discomfort with your braces.
Take pain killers.
Unfortunately, yes. The braces hurt for about 3-4 days after you get them on. The pain does not start immediately, it usually takes about an hour or two for the pain to settle in.
Ice cream, It sort of numbs the pain. And slushies!
Technically you can, but the raisins might get stuck in your braces. Those are a pain to get rid of. Just be careful.
Orthodontic braces are generally not painful, and you shouldn't be afraid to get them because you are worried about pain. If you are in a great deal of pain from your braces, you should discuss it with your orthodontist.
when you are wearing braces they are slowly pulling or pushing your teeth in a certain direction, the pain is caused by the shifting of your teeth and the braking of the roots that hold your teeth in place
take painkillers eg: paracetamol or ibuprofen
