External hemorrhoids can protrude from the anus, this just means one of your hemorrhoids has swollen due to irritation or pressure.

Everyone has hemorrhoids it's just that one or more of our hemorrhoids are swollen, filled with blood and the vein walls stretched.

Maybe there is even a little blood on your toilet paper or in the toilet bowl?

Well, the bad news is that it will stay like that until your body heals. The good news is, if you look after your body you'll eventually get rid of that pesky hemorrhoid (in most cases). From now on only use soft toilet paper. Also, use aloe and witch hazel when you wipe. To ge tthe swelling down you can wrap some ice in thin underwear (just one wrap around) and place directly on the hemorrhoid. Warning, it will be cold!

Exercise and more fiber and more water is essential. Avoid straining on the toilet. Eat more veggies and fruit.

Hemorrhoids are varicose veins that are found around the rectum. They normally are not enlarged. They can bleed and can be painful.
