Alot of people say that is not a good idea, but I've sprained my ankle many of times and it doesn't hurt at all. But I just think it depends on how tight the boots are.

What do you wear ankle boots with?

Ankle boots look great with leggings if you're going for an 80s type of look. Dark wash jeans look good with ankle boots depending on if you want all the focus on the boots. Long baby doll tops look good with ankle boots,but not if you wear the ankle boots with leggings. Baby doll tops paired with leggings and ankle boots look childish. Try tight 80s styled dark wash jeans, and a stylized band tee shirt for a paired with ankle boots for a casual outfit. Unfortunatlly ankle boots are begging to go out of style as Winter arises. Instead UGG boots have taken over. Don't worry. They will probably be back next season.[This was written in Fall 08 so maybe ankle boots have already become stylish again}
