That brown stuff is dried blood, and yes it is normal. Sometimes if we are stressed, very muscular in the stomach area, bits of blood can get caught here and there and eventually your body just flushes it out. Nothing to worry about. Marcy

Brown discharge is just old blood that's taken time to leave your body so turned brown and mixed with your discharge. During this time you can't wear tampons but you can just wear pads or cups.
