I have never heard of or seen a case like this. Typically, schizophrenia emerges in young adulthood. While I cannot say its impossible that it would emerge at age 60, it is very highly improbable that it would. If schizophrenia-like symptoms do emerge, the person should consult with their primary care physician in order to rule out any physical health problems that may be causing these symptoms to appear.
Population statistics on the heredity of schizophrenia estimate that a child with one diagnosed parent has about a 10% genetic risk of developing the disease themselves (this is compared to a 1% risk in the general population). The risk goes up significantly if both parents (60%), a grandparent, or other close relatives also have schizophrenia.
About 1% of the UK population are diagnosed with schizophrenia at some time in their lives; most of these are between ages 15-45. 20% of those suffering from schizophrenia fully recover; 60% make a partial recovery; and for the remaining 20% it becomes a long term problem source: http://www.bicpa.ac.uk/gdg/schizophrenia.html
The start and end of middle age is sometimes debatable and can depend on the person. For most of the population, middle age begins at age 40 and ends at age 60.
Unlikely without extraordinary medical intervention, but remotely possible.
Most live to be about 60 years old or more.

No it is not possible unless you start timing the trip only after you are already moving at the rate of 60 km/hr . If you start at a speed of zero and it takes some time and distance to accelerate to 60, you can never make the time up unless you go faster than 60.
