it's actually quick, simple, and painless. when i got mine off, they just snapped it off, literally. and then did a ton of polishing and cleaning... x rays. it feels different, but it isn't sore.
When your teeth are almost completely straight, your braces should be coming off soon.
Power chains are used for when you have gaps they help close them or when its almost time to get your braces taken off, you get it to keep your teeth straight. I had power chains since the gaps in my teeth they hurt
To remove fixed braces they simply use a tool which cracks off the braces from your teeth, this is not harmful or painful for your teeth. Then you will have your teeth cleaned and polished to get rid of any excess glue. Then you will more than likely have some pictures taken and impressions to give a mould of how much your teeth have improved and your fittings for your retainer
She should've gotten a retainer and worn the retainer as she was told to. If she didn't follow that, she'll probably have to get braces again.
You could potentially harm your teeth severely if you take your braces off yourself. To take them off, your orthodontist uses a special solvent on the glue that holds your braces on. If you don't have that solvent, taking your braces off can be very painful and damaging.

Yes, that's the ultimate goal for braces and when you get them off
to smooth them. they have residue from the glue on the braces and they have to file it off so your not walking around with glue on your teeth.
The braces itself aren't sore, except the first day you get them. Braces aren't "sore" but if you play sports and get by n the mouth it doesn't feel good, if you get hit hard enough, it could make your lip bleed. Tighting doesn't hurt that much, it just feels like pressure on your teeth. So to conclude, I would say braces aren't so bad as everyone explains that they are..... they don't exactly feel wonderful either, you may bleed and yes braces may hurt off and on. Hoped this helped a little bit!!
As long as you brush your teeth while you have your braces, there will be no marks. I had no marks on my teeth when my braces were removed. Another student in my school, however, never brushed her teeth and when her braces were removed she actually had brown bands on her teeth. ~ T
Yes, Christian Beadles no longer has braces. His braces were taken off the beginning Of Feb 2011.
If you brush your teeth once in a day and use mouthwash at night, your teeth will be really good when you get your braces off.
