Shortterm memory
Hallucinations in trauma survivors are caused by abnormal patterns of memory formation during the traumatic experience.
Electrocution: Lightning can cause fatal electrocution when it strikes a person directly. Fires: Lightning strikes can ignite fires in buildings, forests, and other flammable areas. Structural damage: Lightning can damage structures, homes, and infrastructure when it strikes. Power outages: Lightning strikes can disrupt power systems, causing blackouts and affecting electrical appliances. Health effects: Lightning can cause physical and mental health issues such as hearing loss, memory problems, and post-traumatic stress disorder in survivors.
One example of a movie which tells the resolution at the beginning is Memento (2000) in which the story is told--and retold--from the point of view of someone with shortterm memory loss.
it means that we are slowly starting to loose holocaust survivors so the newer generation is starting to not care about the effects it had.
It is possible for a patient to experience memory loss due to a lightning strike. A couple of sources: http://www.harkphoto.com/light.html http://www.cofc.edu/~sessomse/252/When%20lightning%20strikes%20people.htm
