Hi, Not really, no. The miscarriage rate goes down when your 3 months into your pregnancy.
Hey! Actually I saw the baby's heartbeat at 6wks and again at 9wks both on Ultrasounds (I've had so many due to having 3 previous miscarriages and being labeled high-risk). I asked my doctor that exact question and she said that it does take the miscarriage rate down alot, so much so that she doesn't even consider me highrisk anymore. So yes, according to my doctor is does make the miscarriage rate go down (of course it does not go away completely but it does get better). It will go down even more when the placenta successfully takes over the hormone production (which is why most people don't consider it to be "safe" until 3months which is when that final step takes place.) Hope that gives you a little comfort and peace of mind! I know it did for me when I heard that from my doctor!
It can take up to 2 months.
It could mean that, yes but also I bled heavily at around 10 weeks and I had myself prepared for the worst but on an ultrasound scan it showed baby and heartbeat, Im now 37 weeks pregnant and about to pop so all is well!! Make appointment with doctor or phone your nearest hospital to arrange an ultrasound, that way you'll know whats happening. Good luck let me know how it goes!!
Yes she does have a miscarriage. She goes into the hospital with cramps, soon to find out she had a miscarriage. Both Phillip and Nathan are concerned for Melanie.
if this is the only bleed you have had since the miscarriage then it is just your body getting rid of whats left in the womb. bleeding after a miscarriage can and usually does last up to a month so dont worry until it goes on longer than that. The thick red mucus is just the thickened lining of the womb where it thickened to accomodate the baby. try not to worry. a midwife
Yes, it can.
Although the chance of miscarriage goes down significantly after you see the heartbeat and reach the 12 week point, there is always a chance that something may happen. Any fetal demise under 20-22 weeks is considered a miscarriage. If you are feeling crampy or bleeding call your doctor with any questions, that is what they are there for. Hello. Risk of a miscarriage decreases greatly once a woman has reached three months into her pregnancy.
It depends who is doing the ultrasound. If it is the doctor then he/she will probably give you the result as the ultrasound is done. If it is a technician they will have to take photographs and write a report which goes to the doctor who will discuss it with you.
The ultrasound dating has excellent and precise estimation of gestation especially if done in the first trimester (first 12 weeks). After 12 weeks, its accuracy goes down. However, compared to dating according to menstrual cycle, the ultrasound would be more accurate.
the woman goes to the hospital and has her stomach open by an operation and they take it out.
If it goes on for very long you should see your GYN to get some help with the problem.
UTI is not a sign of miscarriage but if it goes untreated it can cause one. The blood can also come from the UTI. See a doctor ASAP.
