Nucynta (tapentadol) is a prescription medication used to manage moderate to severe pain. While it can be effective for some patients, it also carries risks, including potential for abuse, dependence, and side effects such as drowsiness and gastrointestinal issues. Whether it's a "bad" prescription depends on the individual patient's needs, medical history, and how they respond to the medication. It's essential for patients to discuss the benefits and risks with their healthcare provider.
Nucynta is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is called a narcotic. so Nucynta is a narcotic

how long does nucynta stay in your urine
I heard 24 hours, but they weren't sure. Do anybody know for sure
I have recently started taking Nucynta for breakthrough pain. I also take 40 mg of Oxy twice a day and took Ultram for a long time. (years) I love the Nucynta and to answer your question, in my case.............the Nucynta is a LOT more powerful and effective than the Ultram/Ultracet. It starts working very quickly (I take it every 6 hours as needed). In my opinion, the Nucynta is more effective than the percs and vics I was taking for breakthrough pain also. I think you will be very satisfied. Scott Sylvania Ohio
Nucynta is a prescription medication that contains the active ingredient tapentadol, which is used to manage moderate to severe pain in adults. It works as a dual-action analgesic, acting as both an opioid and a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor. Nucynta is available in various formulations, including immediate-release and extended-release tablets. Due to its potential for addiction and abuse, it is classified as a Schedule II controlled substance.
You should consult your doctor or pharmacist for specific advice. It can be quite dangerous to mix pain medications.
No, it does not. lt contains only hydrocodone (Opioid) and acetaminophen (Tylenol).
helll no
Non-prescription drugs are often called over the counter medicines. They are usually for minor ailments.
Ask your doctor (med.), never trust internet information on medicin and pharmaca. Nucynta is an opoid and non-opoid at the same time, so rather complicated.
Yes, but i would ask a pharmacist.
