In my 60 years of experience, I have found that swallowing a tablespoon of peanut butter (for those not allergic) is the best cure for even the worst case of hiccups and I have tried many, many so-called cures. But... go ahead, why listen to me? ...hold your breath 'til you turn blue.....drink the water 'til you feel like you're in Guantanamo...it's your hiccups after all...I'm just sayin'...it worked for me ....that's all.
No.
peanut butter
There is no scientific evidence to suggest that thinking of a grey horse can cure hiccups. Hiccups are involuntary contractions of the diaphragm, and remedies like holding your breath, drinking water, or swallowing sugar can be more effective in stopping them.
Sorry to dissapoint, but pineapple definietly can no cure hiccups. hiccups go and come whenever they like. Trust me i have tried every possible thing to make my hiccups go when every i had them but they just wont go.
Chuck Norris can gargle peanut butter. The boogey man looks under his bed to make sure Chuck Norris isn't there. Chuck Norris's tears can cure cancer, if he ever cried.
A large spoonful of peanut butter inserted into your mouth all at once. Suck it off the roof of your mouth slowly.
The best cure that almost always works is to hold your breath and take 10 sips of water at the same time. it might be hard but it's very effective.
they drink lot of water
suck on peppermints try it, it helps
i have no idea how you get hiccups you could probably find it on Wikipedia but the best cure i know is to have a lime slice dip it in sugar then your hiccups are gone this is what i always did hope it helped :)
yes, actually its true! or atleast for me it is! just take a decent sized amount of peanut butterrr and swallow it down with some water and the hiccups should be gone soon. that's what i do and it works 99% of the time. :) Hick ups are actually caused by an imbalance of either salt or sugar in your system. To correct this eat something sweet or salty depending on your recent dietary intake. It should clear within a moment.
It does not. Although there are many ideas that work for different people, hiccups are a synchronous diaphragmic flutter, caused by a disturbed diaphragm.
